Karuizawa 2000 Miyako Odori Geisha Label
This is the pinnacle of rare Japanese whisky as the distillery shuttered in 2011, this bottle was distilled in 2000 (cask no. 2219) and bottled in 2016. The bottle exhibits fine artwork of the famous Miyaki Odori Geisha girl, synonymous with the springtime dance that is performed by the Geisha’s in Kyoto when the cherry blossom are in bloom.
An extremely rare collectors item there is only 468 bottles.
Karuizawa 1999-2000 Cask Strength
An extremely rare bottle from the now closed Karuizawa distillery this is the fourth edition of a 36 bottle series depicting different views of Mount Fuji.
The Karuizawa distillery opened in 1956 and resided on the southern side of Mount Asama at the foot of Japan’s most active volcano.
The famous distillery shuttered its doors in 2001 and was completely dismantled in 2016. Independent bottler Number One Drinks acquired the distillery’s remaining stocks and released them as some of the most collectible whisky on the current market.
